Larger Battery & Longer Driving Range
The previous Nissan LEAF offered a 40 kWh battery, with an available 60 kWh upgrade, which only delivers up to 341 km of estimated range. For 2026, the all-new Nissan LEAF steps things up with a 75 kWh battery and an estimated range of up to 488 km per charge.
More Convenience & Faster Charging
Charging the 2026 Nissan LEAF has never been easier or faster. Thanks to the new Nissan Energy Charge Network, which now includes a partnership with Tesla, that opens the door to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers across North America. Even better, the all-new LEAF supports faster charging speeds and is already optimized for more efficient charging in both cold and hot climates.
Adjustable Regenerative Braking
Whether you’re looking to extend your range or enjoy a more dynamic drive, the 2026 Nissan LEAF gives you the flexibility to do both. With the available regenerative braking paddles, kind of like paddle shifters, it allows you to fine-tune how much the car slows down when you lift off the power pedal, which gives you greater control over coasting and deceleration.
Dimming Panoramic Roof
The all-new 2026 Nissan LEAF’s panoramic roof is like magic. It uses special tech called Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal to switch the glass from clear to opaque whenever you want, just by pressing a button.
