The All-New 2021 Nissan Rogue: Now at Avenue Nissan

The third-generation Nissan Rogue has arrived at Avenue Nissan, and there’s more to love than ever before. It rides on an all-new platform, is powered by a new engine, and has handsome new styling.

The exterior design is rugged and purposeful, with an updated version of Nisan’s V-Motion grille. LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED tail lights are standard on all trims. 17” alloy wheels are standard on S models, with 18” alloys on the SV trim, and 19” alloys on the Platinum trim. Platinum models also add extra chrome trim and an available contrasting black-painted roof.

All Rogue trims feature Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite of safety technologies, consisting of Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane-Departure Warning, High-Beam Assist, Blind-Spot Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rear Automatic Braking. SV and Platinum models add Nissan’s ProPilot Assist as standard equipment, comprised of Intelligent Cruise Control and Steer Assist. Intelligent Cruise Control allows the Rogue to maintain a set following distance with cruise control activated, bringing the vehicle to a stop when traffic slows to a standstill and accelerating when traffic begins to move again. Steer Assist helps keep the Rogue centered in its lane using a special camera mounted on the upper windshield. All Rogues feature 10 supplemental air bags.

Perhaps the most exciting of the Rogue’s numerous upgrades is the luxurious new interior. All Rogue models feature heated front seats and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. Rogue S and SV models feature cloth-trimmed seating for five. Rogue SV offers leatherette seating surfaces, heated rear seats, rear sunshades, and a power liftgate as part of the Premium Package. Rogue Platinum treats passengers to diamond-quilted Nappa leather seating surfaces.
The new Rogue also boasts an impressive array of standard infotainment features. The centerpiece of the system is an 8” touchscreen display with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth Handsfree phone and streaming audio are standard, as is SiriusXM satellite radio and a hands-free text messaging assistant. A RearView monitor is standard equipment on all Rogues, and the SV Trim adds the Nissan Intelligent Around-View Monitor. Rogue Platinum adds a 12.3” digital gauge cluster and a headsup display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system.

Under the hood, the Rogue features a new 2.5L, direct-injection four cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The standard Xtronic CVT Automatic Transmission sends power to either the front wheels or the available intelligent all wheel drive system. All-Wheel-Drive Rogues feature selectable Snow and Terrain modes. Stopping duties are handled by the standard anti-lock four wheel vented disc brakes, with Electronic Brake Force Distribution. This new powertrain is estimated to return combined fuel economy ratings of 8.1L/100km in front wheel drive Rogues, and 8.3L/100km for All Wheel Drive models.
